A French classic that requires patience, but the result is worth every second. They're elegant, subtle, and delicious.
Ingredients for the macarons:
- 100 g of almond flour
- 100 g of icing sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 30 g of sugar
- Pink food coloring (optional)
Ganache filling:
- 100 g of white chocolate
- 40 ml whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon raspberry puree
Preparation:
- Sift almond flour and powdered sugar.
- Beat the egg whites with sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Incorporate the dry ingredients with circular movements.
- Form circles on a tray and let dry for 30-40 minutes.
- Bake at 150°C for 12-15 minutes.
- For the ganache, heat the cream with the raspberry puree, pour over the chocolate and mix.
- Fill the macarons once they are cold.
Presentation: You can store them in a decorative box and surprise someone special.
